Thank you for your interest in availing yourself of my expertise. I think that you’re making the right choice for your photographs. Presently, I use the Epson R1800 and the Epson Stylus Pro 7800 printers with inks capable of producing “fade resistant photos lasting 100-200 years”. According to Epson, these prints have a lifetime 2 - 3 times longer than ordinary photo lab prints. Large format prints from these Epson printers are considered “Giclée” prints. Giclée prints used to be made on Iris printers costing $40,000.00 or more. However, in the last few years, Epson (among others) has made great strides in printer and ink technology, which allows for Giclée prints to be made on the Epson 7800 and R1800. I believe that my photographs and prints speak for the type and quality of my work. My goal is artistic endeavor and I am really not set up for print duplication and color matching. Before accepting any job, we will discuss your needs and desires. If I can make you happy, I’ll accept the work.

Image Editing

I can edit your images within reason to your specifications. I use Photoshop CS with various plug-ins, including Genuine Fractals and the complete NIK Filters, along with the usual Photoshop tools. I may prefer that you be present at the time of editing. You will receive a free CD at the end of the session. I charge $80.00 per hour pro-rated in 15-minute increments.

6. No Refunds on Prints. I will replace faulty prints within 30 days of purchase only if the defect was my fault.

No guarantees on longevity of prints. While the Epson Ultrachrome inks are touted by Epson to last 100 years, once they are in your hands, I have no control over exposure to UV, moisture, mold, fumes and any number of other things which may be detrimental to the prints. I can say that none of my personal prints made on these machines have ever faded.
